Once again I think we have the most beautiful weather in the nation.  The veggies are all planted, the hydrangeas are in, snowball bush in full bloom.  It was lovely while we had guests for the holiday weekend.

I have some time off work to work on some projects I have been dying to get at.  I will post when done…except one that will be a secret wedding gift for my niece, Jenna.

Wow – 70 degrees at 8:00 – but a nice little breeze for my little run.

Lots of activity this past weekend.  The Finger Lakes Gallery and Frame is under new ownership and they are remodeling so everything needs to be inventoried, etc.  I am moving many pieces to different places.  Got all the dead bushes removed and put in the hydrangeas I wanted for Mother’s day. So far they are still alive – day 1.  Planted more hollyhocks and cone flowers and all the vegetables in the raised beds.  Saw the new Star Trek movie, cleaned the garage, finished painting a desk for a donation and made some frames for a friend’s paintings – love my chop saw and router !  Lots of loose ends all tied up. That feels good.

Well it was a busy weekend with BEAUTIFUL weather.  I did the COLOR RUN with many of my siblings and neices, etc.  That was interesting – glad I did it once.  Messy and hard to breath but fun.  Finished some commissioned pieces and so three big pieces left my studio.  I am helping an artist friend to make frames for some large paintings since I have a chop saw and a router.  They are coming along very nicely thanks to my wonderful husband’s help!  I brought my lace scarves and new sheep to The Cheshire Union shop.  Weeded all the gardens.  Sanded and primed a desk I am painting for a fund raiser, fixed a rocker from our front porch and needle felted some wool sheep.  I will sleep well tonight.
